Getting Started as a NWDA Community Store Merchant

Registration

It all start with your registration at the site. With the registration, you become a NWDA Community Store user. You are not a merchant yet, but you can start maintaining your profile, reading tutorials, writing tutorials, suggesting lnks to useful TG2 resources, make connections to other registered users and communicate through site email.

Uploading your first product - becoming a NWDA CS (Community Store) Merchant

Chek out the menu "Community Contributions" on the left navigation and look for a link named "Sell product". Clicking on that link will take you to a form with which you can upload and configure your first (and future) products for sale on the site. To successfully create your product, you need to specify the following details:

Item Explanation
Product Name Choose a name for your product. The name should give an accurate hint on what's included in the product.
Product Category The NWDA CS is organized by product categories. Choose the one category from the available dropdown box that best describes the nature of your product. You cannot specify multiple categories.
Product Description Use this free text to promote your product, but take care that you are accurate in the description and don't make false claims on its abilities or contents.
Price

Specify your price in Euro. It's the only currency available in the NWDA CS. If you are used to other currencies, simply convert your currency to Euro. For example, www.oanda.com let's you find out the daily exchange rate for your currency into Euro. You can specify any price you would like, but need to adhere to the following rules:

  1. You can choose to offer products at 0 Euro, making them freebies. Offering free objects are only allowed after approval from the site administrator.
  2. You must not choose a price less than 1 Euro. Anything less will be corrected by the site admin to at least 1 Euro.
  3. Any price above 1 Euro is acceptable.
File

Upload a your product file. This is the downloadeable goods that your customers will be buying.

  1. Your file size must not exceed 15 MB
  2. Allowed file formats include zip, rar, tgd, tgc, ter
  3. If you need to ship more than just one file, compress everything together in a zip or rar archive before uploading
Image You can upload just one product image. The product image must not exceed 800x800 pixels
Thumbnail You can upload just one thumbail product image. The thumbnail product image must not exceed 150x150 pixels
Terms & Conditions Before being able to add your product to NWDA CS, you must agree to the vendor terms and conditions. Make sure you read the terms and conditions thoroughly before you submit your product. The terms and conditions specify exactly what rights and obligations you have as a NWDA CS vendor, and how the vendor compensation works. This is a legal document.
Add With clicking ont he add button, you finally submit your product into the NWDA CS. Your product will be available immediately and will not require additional site admin approval.
